January is Plank Month

Plank monthJanuary is Plank Month at Fitness Factory.  We have a plethora of core and ab classes to help get your midsection back on track.  We will be having a plank contest at the end of January.  The member that holds the plank the longest will receive a free month membership to use for themselves or to give as a gift!! 

Dates for contest final:  January 29th at 5:00pm or January 30th at 11:00am.  Good luck to all that try!!

If you are interested in trying to lose weight, try to burn a certain number of calories each week. f you are able to only do cardiovascular exercise 2 times a week, work hard to try to burn 300 calories per workout. If you are able to make it in more times per week, you can drop your calories back a little. 3500 calories equals 1 pound of fat. In combination with a healthy diet, you can try to lose weight the healthy way, 1-2 pounds a week.
